DENTIST: Dr. Kyriaki Anastasaki BDS (Lon.)

Kyriaki (Kyra) is an enthusiastic and ethical dental practitioner who always strives for excellence in her provision of clinical work, while at the same time prioritising her patients needs and wishes. Kyra successfully completed her dental studies in Barts & the London School of medicine and dentistry in 2018, graduating with numerous distinctions and awards including the Dean’s Outstanding Achievement Prize!

Kyra then moved on to acquire additional postgraduate qualifications in orthodontics and aesthetic medicine.

Kyra practices all aspects of general dentistry from simple fillings and crowns to Invisalign and anti ageing treatments, that she is passionate about.

In her spare time she enjoys cooking and Pilates.

Dr Marisa Monteiro (Andrade)

Marisa is our Principal Dentist here at Battersea Smiles. Marisa graduated in 2005 from Queen Mary Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry. Having treated patients in both NHS and private practice in London and Cambridgeshire, she has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry and orthodontic treatments using brackets and wires, 6month smiles, Invisalign and Fastbraces. Having completed post graduate qualifications, training and courses she has developed a real eye and passion for orthodontics and whitening.

Her real passion is smile designing with orthodontics to create beautiful smiles to enhance each person’s natural unique beauty. Marisa is fully certified in the use of Invisalign orthodontics and a Diamond provider of Invisalign (highest accolade).

With 15 years of experience she has an extensive portfolio of successful cases, ranging from the very mild to very complex of teeth straightening cases. She is an active member of the British Dental association, Invisalign Academy regularly participating in conferences at home and abroad, as well as in lectures and mentoring programmes with her peers.

Marisa is very popular with her patients and enjoys building a strong rapport during the treatment process to help make the process. This ensures she meets the patients treatment goals to achieve the best possible results and give patients the confident smile they always wanted!

Outside of Battersea Smiles, Marisa is dedicated to continued professional development with a range of courses, reading material and dental updates.

In her spare time, Marisa loves to travel, cook and spend quality time with her family and 2 little crazy daughters!

Associate Dentist
Dr Rakhi Rajput

After graduating as a dentist from the University of Sheffield in 2018, I have since undertaken further training in providing conservative aesthetic treatments for my patients. This includes treatments such as composite bonding, whitening, crowns, veneers and gum contouring. This has enabled me to provide high-quality care to gain predictable outcomes to achieve the best for my patients.

I also have a strong interest in straightening teeth and I am a Invisalign provider, where I have successfully completed a range of cases.

I have also trained with renowned clinicians on Harley Street for facial aesthetic treatments, to provide natural results for anti-ageing rejuvenation. I find it extremely rewarding when I achieve results that enhances the confidence and self-esteem of my patients using minimally invasive techniques.

In my spare time I love socialising with my friends and family, eating great food as well as travelling and enjoying a range of new experiences including yoga, hiking, skiing and scuba diving.

Dr Heather Samuels

Dr Samuels qualified from the University of Leeds in 2009.

She has a keen interest in cosmetic Dentistry and improving peoples smiles and the improved confidence this can bring. She is an experienced Invisalign provider. Having treated over 200 cases she has achieved amazing results and made her patients very happy! She also is trained in anti-wrinkle injections.

Dr Samuels has a very caring and empathic approach which makes her very popular amongst her patients. She has close to ten years of experience in Dentistry and having spent time within several different practices over the years, she has vast experience in treating a wide variety of patients with a wide variety of dental problems. She is an excellent clinician and with her kind, friendly and caring approach, she is experienced at taking her time with nervous patients and helping them overcome phobias through gentle dentistry.

Her interests outside of Dentistry include health and fitness, travel, and embracing the joys of living in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of London.

Dr Rachel Ibbotson

Rachel qualified from Leeds Dental Institute in 2013 and has worked in general practice ever since, performing aesthetic and general dentistry.

Since qualifying, Rachel has undertaken a number of post-graduate courses, including training from one of the most prominent aesthetic dentists in the UK.

Rachel is passionate about giving you the very best dental care and service. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role, as well as a caring and friendly approach which will make you feel at ease.

She particularly enjoys using Invisalign to gently move teeth, and to perfect smiles with teeth whitening and aesthetic bonding.

Outside of the clinic, Rachel practices yoga and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Doctor Chris Lee has, over the years, emerged as one of the UK’s most senior and highly regarded dental implant surgeons – having been engaged as visiting dental implant expert at no fewer than 15 BUPA Dental Care and other dental practices across the country. He has a reputation built on kindness and complete
approachability.

Having qualified at the internationally prestigious University College Hospital in 1980, he has had forty years of experience in the provision of complex oral rehabilitation, and has undergone two full year comprehensive high- calibre dental implant training courses – both in the mid 90’s and mid 00’s.

Characteristically, he maintains an attitude of perpetual personal and professional self improvement, and constantly refreshes his skills to stay at the forefront of developments in the exciting and enthralling field of dental implant rehabilitation.

Chris has also been providing sedation for over 10 years and specializes in complex cases and nervous patients.’

DENTIST: Dr. Louisa Jarvie

Louisa qualified with distinction from the University of Leeds. Since then, she has worked in general practice both in London and her home county of Worcestershire

Louisa is a skilled general dental practitioner, who has continued her thirst for learning by obtaining several additional qualifications. These include: a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry, Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and full Invisalign accreditation. She also offers composite bonding and all aspects of general dentistry!

Louisa is incredibly friendly and personable. Her approach is influenced by a desire to connect with people and build relationships, which means that she is regularly complimented on her ability to put patients at ease. She is incredibly detail orientated and motivated by ensuring that her patients have the best

Outside of dentistry, Louisa is a keen runner and ran her first half marathon last year. She also loves food, so can regularly be found trying out new recipes and places to eat.

Orthodontic Therapist: Dr. Eva Kokorisa

Eva began her career as a dental nurse / orthodontic nurse over a decade ago and after having a great knowledge and understanding of all aspects of dentistry she developed a deep passion for orthodontics. She then embarked on training with the Manchester university to get  Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy ,she graduated from the Faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2019.

Eva believes in taking an individualised approach when delivering patient care in order to meet each patient’s needs. She is a very empathic, outgoing and caring  orthodontic therapist who can deal very well with the most anxious patients putting them at ease and making their experience as comfortable as possible. She will give you tips on how to achieve the best possible oral care at home and make you feel great about your smile.

In her spare time, Eva enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit in the gym, reading and being involved in different types of charity work.

Magdalena Krukowska

Magda qualified as a dental Hygienist in 2020 but has been part of the Battersea Smiles family since 2017! Since qualifying Magda has continued her professional development through gaining qualifications and experience in providing tailored hygiene programmes including periodontal and whitening treatment. She prides herself in completing this to the highest standard using the techniques she has learned, in a relaxing and calming atmosphere, offering direct access when required.

Magda is particularly interested in holistic care to support all of her patients, especially those undergoing orthodontic treatment and management of periodontal disease ( deep clean) by offering tailored preventative advice to ensure good oral health.

Magda regularly undertakes postgraduate study and courses to ensure she is at the forefront of the highest level of delivery of patient care.

Aside from dental hygiene, Magda has a strong love of travelling and exploring different cultures.

With a positive and friendly attitude, she will be there to welcome and assist you throughout your journey in the clinic, and together with the whole team, will work hard to give you the smile you’ve been dreaming about.
